I Don't Trust Zohran Mamdani

I'm sorry but I still don't trust him. I feel like we've seen this play too many times before in people like Alexandria Occasio-Cortez, Bernie Sanders, Ilhan Omar, etc. He talks a good game but we won't know until if he wins and after his first year or two of him running New York city. I don't trust anyone in the duopoly (Democrat & Republican parties), so you can understand my extreme caution. Also, this can be a ploy to get some on the left to think reforming the system is a viable option when in reality this system must be demolished and rebuilt. This also can be a way to get some on the left to put their guard down and believe in “saviors” while we grow lax in our mutual aid and organizing efforts. DO NOT BE FOOLED. DO NOT STOP ORGANIZING. KEEP DOING MUTUAL AID AND BUILDING DUAL POWER.

I don't want to see my fellow leftists become devastated if Mamdani sells out.

Now, if I am wrong.... I will publicly say "I WAS WRONG ABOUT ZOHRAN MAMDANI" live on my platform. The crazy part is: I HOPE I AM WRONG. I want to be wrong. But my intuition is screaming at me right now. I haven't said much on him but I just want to prepare all of you for what could happen and I want you to stay Revolutionary in your mindset in these next 18-24 months. Don't take your eye off the ball. I say this with love and respect. I know this opinion piece comes to you as a wet blanket especially since he won the democratic primary yesterday but I have to present the warning now.
